Genesis Junior Centre is a community-based school located in the Soweto slum of Nairobi, Kenya, serving children who face significant daily challenges due to poverty and limited access to basic resources.
In this environment, many families struggle to afford school fees, uniforms, and even regular meals. As a result, children often come to school hungry, making it difficult to focus, stay consistent, and fully participate in their education.
