Neema & Hekima Schools
Overview of Current Situation
Neema and Hekima Schools serve children from high-poverty communities where access to safe learning spaces, educational resources, and enrichment activities is limited. Dorcas Destiny International currently partners with these two schools to provide porridge and/or lunch. As partnerships and donors increase, we will expand services beyond just food for the children.
Why Neema & Hekima Matter
In densely populated communities, children often face:
- Overcrowded classrooms and narrow desks
- Limited learning materials and activity space
- Few structured programs during school breaks
- Minimal access to creative or faith-based enrichment
- Households where parents have extremely limited funds for even basic needs
Dorcas Destiny International currently feeds the students during a school day.

Current Needs
To improve learning experiences at Neema and Hekima, we are actively seeking support for:
- Donors to officially “adopt” Neema and/or Hekima schools as their own project for funding of the meal program
- Funding to launch a weekly Educational Enrichment Program at each school
- Supplies and activity materials
- Support for expanded holiday school-break programming
